There were six champions crowned at the Mid America Youth Basketball tournament in Great Bend and Ellinwood on Sunday.
The tournament boasted 41 teams in six separate divisions, including four boys’ divisions and two girls’ divisions, over four venues.
The Kansas Dream Team won the seventh- and eighth-grade girls’ division, topping second-place Triple Threat.
In the 11th- and 12th-grade girls’ division, the Newton Railers prevailed over the Kansas Dream Team.
The Barton Blazers won the fourth- and fifth-grade boys title, topping the Hutchinson Junior Celtics.
For the seventh- and eighth-grade boys, the Pratt Green captured first place over Hoisington.
McPherson topped the Pratt Gold in the ninth- and 10th-grade boys’ division.
Scott City beat the CK Spurs to win the 11th- and 12th-grade division.
