MACKSVILLE — Macksville’s Cleven Huggins, the grandson of Robert and Debbie Hogan has signed a national letter of intent to play football and run track at Highland Community College. Huggins will compete in the Beloit 8-Man All-Star Football Game this summer. 

Huggins scored 11 touchdowns with 853 receiving yards and 102 yards rushing. Huggins earned Central Prairie League and All-District first-team honors at wide receiver and defensive back. He earned all-league and all-district honors as a junior tight end/receiver.   

Huggins finished runner-up in the CPL 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles, and 400-meter relay. He placed 11th in the 300 hurdles and competed on the 2019 state qualifying 1,600-meter relay, which placed 13th.
