NICKERSON 77, LARNED 18

Nickerson's No. 5 state-ranked girls scored 52 first-half points for a dominating 77-18 Central Kansas League basketball victory. Nickerson (11-2, 3-0 CKL) was led by Madison Ontjes with 17 points and supersub Lanaya Hada scored a career high 16 points with four 3-pointers. Nickerson's 6-foot-2 twin towers dominated the paint as Morgan Stout scored 15 points and Ava Jones added 12 points, plus dominating rebounding and defense.

Larned (0-13, 0-3 CKL) was led by Kendra Grandy with eight points and two 3-pointers.
