CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 74, OTIS-BISON 35
CLAFLIN – The No. 1 state-ranked Central Plains girls swept to their 98th consecutive victory by rolling past league-leader Otis-Bison 74-35 in Tuesday’s Central Prairie League game.
All-stater Emily Ryan scored 31 points and four assists. The Oilers (14-0, 4-0 CPL) converted 32 Cougar turnovers into easy scores. The Oilers made 32 of 59 field goals, had 27 steals and 20 assists. Delaney Rugan scored 13 points and had five steals. Rachel Lamatsch provided 11 points, four assists and five steals.
Otis-Bison (13-2, 4-1 CPL) was paced by Maddie Wiltse with 15 points and Lauren Maier added 11 points.

CLAFLIN – Oiler Brett Liebl scored 20 points and Myles Menges and Alex Hickel each added 14 points as No. 1 state-ranked Central Plains rolled past Otis-Bison 73-15 in Tuesday’s Central Prairie League basketball game.
The Oilers (14-0) led 20-4 after one period and 44-8 at halftime behind dominating offensively and defensively. The Oilers (14-0) have won 40 consecutive games after winning 2A state basketball last year.
Maitland Wiltse led the Cougars with 10 points.
