Emmett Delp kept the Tigers within range with a dazzling 37-point night for St. John (13-5, 6-1 CPL). Jace Reyes added 11 points.

ST. JOHN GIRLS 45, CENTRAL PLAINS 33 — St. John's girls won the battle for second place with a 45-33 Central Prairie League basketball victory over Central Plains.
St. John (11-7, 6-1 CPL) was paced by Lilly Brummer with 16 points and Jalyn Fisher with 10 points. The Tigers converted 13 of 15 free throws and defended the Oilers superbly.
The Oilers (11-6, 5-2 CPL) were led by Aevyn Siemsen with 14 points and Emery Siemsen added 10 points.
