CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 61, CHASE 15

CLAFLIN – Central Plains Oiler Addyson Ogle scored 22 points and Marilyn Soeken added 18 points as the Oilers powered past Chase 61-15 in Tuesday’s non-league basketball game. Soeken hit a trio of 3-pointers for the Oilers (5-2).

Chase’s Jersey Meyeres and Kaylee Miller each scored five points.

CENTRAL PLAINS 91, CHASE 12

CLAFLIN – Central Plains roared to a 61-5 halftime lead and rolled past Chase 91-12 in Tuesday’s non-league basketball game.

Peyton Ryan led the Oilers (6-1) with 20 points and Aiden Hekele (17), Brodie Crites (15) and Camden Stiles (10) scored in double figures. Hekele converted a trio of 3-pointers and the Oilers made 39 field goals.

“I’m happy for the players. They are working hard,” said Central Plains coach Michael Ryan.
