CLAFLIN – Central Plains Oiler Eli Hurley scored three touchdowns to spark a 54-6 football victory over Otis-Bison in 8-Man, District 5. The Oilers (3-3, 1-2 District) win their first District game.

Hurley scored on runs of 15, 38 and 42 yards. Blaine Hickel contributed a 35-yard punt return and a 56-yard scoring dash. Hunter Klima caught a 35-yard scoring pass from Brody Crites and intercepted a pass. Joel Schrieber added a 1-yard touchdown.

The Cougars (0-6, 0-2) scored when Gavin Alloway raced for a touchdown after teammate Eston Juno flipped him the football after catching a short pass from Jake Hoopingarner.
