unbeaten at Thursday’s Claflin Invitational. Ryan defeated Sterling’s Karissa
Wilson 8-0 in the championship match. Ryan (24-0) has lost five games in 24
matches.
Sterling scored 37 points to edge Central Plains (31) for first place. Sterling’s No. 2 singles Ella Wellman, No. 1 doubles Kinzie Comley-Aubrey Anderson and No. 2 doubles Riley Richter-Natalie Schweizer all placed first
Wellman downed Lyons; Azelin Decker 8-1 for first place. Comley-Anderson defeated Central Plains Oilers Brynna Hammeke-Kyla Metro 8-0 in the championship match. Richter-Schweizer defeated Central Plains Oilers Jennah Jeffrey-Zoe Potter, 8-2 for first place.
