CENTRAL PLAINS 79, CONCORDIA 8

CLAFLIN — It's 127 and counting. 

All-stater Emily Ryan posted a triple/double with 29 points, 12 assists and 12 steals as the Central Plains Oilers roared to a dominating 79-8 victory Saturday over the 4A Concordia Panthers. The Oilers (16-0) have earned a state record 127 consecutive victories, fifth all-time in U.S. girls basketball history. 

Ryan was unstoppable as usual with 11 of 17 field goal shooting. Kassidy Nixon scored 14 points and Addison Crites added 12 points. The Oilers led 29-0 after one quarter and 55-4 at halftime. The Oilers had 34 steals with Rachel Lamatsch getting eight steals and Nixon six steals.

CLAFLIN — Central Plains Oiler Lawson Oeser scored 16 points and Jerred Bieberle added 12 points as the Oilers routed 4A Concordia 50-28 Saturday. J.J. Heredia and Tyler Holmes each scored nine points.
