Oilers sweep past Otis-Bison Cougars

CENTRAL PLAINS 65, OTIS-BISON 45 — Otis-Bison coach Curtis Little figured the Cougars would run out of energy after a triple overtime game Monday.

Central Prairie League co-leader Central Plains (14-2, 6-0 CPL) stretched a 3-point margin to 65-45 with a strong second-half finish. 

Red-hot Brodie Crites scored 26 points with Camden Stiles (17) and Peyton Dody (11) hitting double figures.

Otis-Bison's Kelson Juno scored 15 points and Kolten Cory added 11 points.

CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 44, OTIS-BISON 25 — The Central Plains sister act was on fire with Emery Siemsen scoring 16 points and Aevyn Siemsen adding 10 points in a 44-21 Central Prairie League basketball win over Otis-Bison. Izzy Hurley added 12 points.

Otis-Bison's Allie Smith and Rowyn Juno scored six points.
