CENTRAL PLAINS 44, TESCOTT 0

TESCOTT – Central Plains quarterback Cole Lamatsch scored four touchdowns and accounted for 91 yards in Friday's 44-0 victory over Tescott in Friday's 8-Man District 3 opener. 

Lamatsch opened the scoring on a dazzling 76-yard punt return. He converted touchdown runs of 1 and 23 yards and completed his scoring on an 28-yard interception return. Hunter Klima scored on a 6-yard run. Evan Stratmann scored on a 1-yard run. 

Paxton Dody intercepted a pass. Blaine Hickel led the defense with 12 tackles and five assists. Dawson McNeal had eight tackles and five assists. Tescott gained 40 yards rushing and 27 yards passing.

ELLINWOOD – Defending 1A state semifinalist Inman roared past Ellinwood 68-0 in 1A, District 3 . Kyler Konrade scored four touchdowns and Kendyn Blank scored three times. Blank scored on runs of 25, 25 and 48 yards. Konrade scored on a 39-yard interception and 1, 4 and 20-yard runs.

Eli Brunk and Samuel Shober added scoring touchdowns for Inman (2-0). Inman's Shober recovered a fumble and Josiah Buller intercepted a pass to set up Teuton scores.

The Teutons gained 340 yards as Blank rushed for 123 yards. Inman yielded 25 total yards with 12 tackles for lost yardage. Eli Brunk had seven tackles, four for lost yardage.

Ellinwood's Devan Komarek recovered a fumble for the Eagles' highlight.

SYLVAN GROVE – Sylvan-Lucas quarterback Lane Homewood rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-16 victory over Otis-Bison in the 8-Man District 5 opener.

Homewood scored on runs of 2, 5 and 46 yards and he completed a 13-yard scoring pass to Valden Dohl. Gerium Boor rushed for 116 yards and scored on a 65-yard run.

Otis-Bison quarterback Kaden Foust completed touchdown passes to Eston Juno and Dalton Regan. Foust rushed for 80 yards and passed for 60 yards. Juno accounted for eight tackles and Christian Roth seven.

STAFFORD — Stafford halfback Tai Hildbrand rushed for two touchdowns and gained 144 yards in a 49-0 non-league football victory over Wilson Friday.

Stafford quarterback Dylan Gantz rushed for 93 yards and a score and completed a 10-yard touchdown pass to Tarrant Young. Josh Hildebrand and Angel Dominguez scored touchdowns. 

Wilson lost 25 yards rushing in 22 attempts. Josh Hildebrand recovered a fumble. Ashton Harter had six tackles, four for lost yardage. Gantz had six tackles, three for lost yardage.

MOUNDRIDGE 54, MACKSVILLE 36

MACKSVILLE – Moundridge scored the final 22 points for a wild 54-36 non-district football victory over Macksville.

Macksville quarterback Ryan Kuckelman completed his second consecutive touchdown pass to Rogelio Ibarra for a 36-32 lead with 11:09 left. Moundridge's Kase Ptacek scored two touchdowns and Brayden Conquest added a fourth-quarter score. Kuckelman rushed for 69 yards and passed for 71 yards and three touchdowns. Hector Gomez scored a rushing and pass receiving touchdown. 

Kuckelman led the defense with 12 tackles. Alvaro Ibarra accounted for eight tackles.

Moundridge's Ptacek gained 209 yards on 35 carries with three touchdowns. Conquest scored a rushing touchdown.

Quarterback Henry Hecox threw for three touchdowns connecting with Ptacek, Joseph Schrag and Logan Churchill. Hecox was 7 of 11 for 189 yards and piloted the ‘Cats to 467 yards offense. Huff and Churchill led the Wildcats with nine tackles apiece.

ROZEL – Pawnee Heights quarterback Braden Colglzier accounted for six touchdowns in a wild 74-38 loss to Ashland in 6-man football Friday.

Receiver Adam Hands caught touchdown passes of 1, 10, 45 and 50 yards from Colglazier. The quarterback scored on a 60-yard kickoff return and he caught a 35-yard scoring strike from Jimmy Gardner.

Ashland (1-0) scored seven first-half touchdowns and added four touchdowns in the third period.
