The red-hot Great Bend baseball team scored 28 runs to sweep Hutchinson High 15-1 and 13-6 in Friday's non-league doubleheader. Pitchers Hunter Herrman (1-0) and reliever Peyden Oelger combined for a no-hitter in the opener. Great Bend (3-0) features Carson Umphres (.714, 10 runs, 8 RBI); Ian Premer (700, 4 runs, 4 RBI) and Koehn Ribordy (.500, 5 RBI) after three games. PANTHERS 15, HUTCHINSON 1 (G1) — Catcher Jaxon Wondra drove home five runs keyed by a pair of 2-RBI hit to spark a 13-hit attack.
