Panther bowlers stay unbeaten

LIBERAL – Great Bend Panther Bryce Moore (668) continued to dominate medalist honors as the Panther bowlers edged past Liberal's boys 7-4 in Thursday's Western Athletic Conference bowling dual. The Panthers are unbeaten in WAC dual matches. 

The Great Bend girls also swept Liberal 11-0.

The defending Western Athletic Conference champions scored a 2,769 total with a 2,258 series. The Panthers won two of three games. Great Bend won a Baker game 194-188. Liberal won two Baker games.

Other Panther finishers were fourth-place Dalton Murphy (533), fifth-place Evan Shell (520), sixth-place Corbin Stanley (500), eighth-place Dalton Dicks (486); 10—Ashton Ensley (422).

Great Bend Panther Paige Wagner earned medalist honors again (597). The Panthers scored a 2,552 total with a 2,038 series and 514 Baker score. The Panther swept Baker games, 185-126, 200-191 and 183-168. Runner-up Lexy Fox (519), third-place Kristy Wittig (441), fourth-place Aliyah Fryberger (436), seventh-place Zues Garcia (413) and  11th place Nichole Griffin (353) also competed.
