SALINA – Great Bend Panther Ashlyn Harbaugh continued strong play with a 12th-place finish (95) at Monday's Salina Central Golf Invitational. Play was competed with gusty 25-30 mph northerly winds and temperatures in the 40s and 50s.

Also counting for Great Bend were 15th-place Alyson Kaiser (99), 19th-place Kendyl Henning (102) and 29th-place Kirsten Miessler (110).

"We played in really tough weather conditions at Salina. Cool temperatures mixed with wind and heavy drizzle made conditions difficult for play," said Great Bend coach Travis McAtee. "We had three girls in the top 20 individuals, led by Ashlyn Harbaugh in 12th and Allyson Kaiser in 15th. I’m proud of how the girls battled through it to earn fourth place."

Great Bend (406) finished fourth. 6A Manhattan (352) edged Hays High (363) for first place. Salina South’s Zoe Norton (82) earned medalist honors.
