Panther ties for seventh medalist
DODGE CITY – Great Bend Panther Cole Streck carded an 80 to tie for seventh medalist honors at Thursday’s Dodge City Golf Invitational. Streck has earned a top 10 medal in every tournament this spring. Great Bend (346) placed sixth in a challenging tournament won by Wichita Kapaun-Mt. Carmel (313) followed by Maize South (332).
Great Bend also counted scores by 24th-place Brantley Baldwin (86), 26th-place Scott Heilman (87) and 47th-place Cal Dunekack (97).
Topeka West’s Myles Alonzo (75) earned medalist honors with Kapaun-Mt. Carmel’s Asher Whitaker (77) and Conner Geist (77) tying Hutchinson’s Ty Adkins (77) for runner-up.
