SALINA —Great Bend's quartet of Emilee Hall, Clarice Snapp, Ellyson Somers and Josephine Mazouch earned a state qualifying time and broke the school record in the 200-yard medley relay (2:00.81) at Thursday's Salina Swimming Invitational.
The Panthers' tandem of Camryn Dunekack, Kira Cook, Calista Long and Katy Jerke set the previous record (2:00.92) in 2016.
The Panthers achieved five other times which surpassed state qualifying or state consideration times.
Snapp won the 100 breaststroke 1:19.61 (SQ). Great Bend's runner-up finishes were earned by Hall, 50 freestyle, 27.26 (SC); Hall, 100 backstroke, 1:05.71 (SQ); Mazouch, 100 freestyle, 59.81 (SC); and Somers, 200 IM, 2:30.52 (SQ).
Great Bend (372) finished third after McPherson (438) and Campus (383).
