Panthers' Alec Premer places 16th

SALINA — Great Bend's Alec Premer (83, 42-41) earned 16th place at Tuesday's Salina South Golf Invitational at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

The Panthers (340) placed seventh.

The Panthers counted scores by 20th place Ethan Somers (84), 29th place Ian Premer (86) and 32nd Zack Hart (87).

The Panthers' trio of Alec Premer, Ian Premer and Cal Schartz all birdied No. 10 at Salina Municipal.

Topeka West's Blaze Schultz (72, 34-38) earned medalist honors with birdies at Nos. 2 and 3. Hays High (319) won the team title.
