Great Bend Panther 1B-P-OF Paco Hernandez has signed a baseball scholarship offer from Barton Community College. The lefthanded pitcher Hernandez has a 1.40 earned run average with one save and one earned run in five innings pitched. Hernandez is batting .500 (10-20) with a team-leading nine RBIs, 10 runs, a double, two triples and a home run.

Great Bend (5-1, 2-0 WAC) is scheduled to play Tuesday at defending Western Athletic Conference champion Hays High.
