LENEXA — Great Bend's swimmers recorded season-best times in three events in Saturday's consolation finals in the 5-1A girls state swimming meet.

Emilee Hall moves up three spots to place 11th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.24). Josephine Mazouch (58.75) moved up one spot to place 15th in the 100 freestyle.

The Panthers' 200-yard freestyle relay moves up two spots to place 13th (1:49.83) with Josephine Mazouch, Meredith Mazouch, Sydney Kruckenberg and Hall. In the 400-yard freestyle relay Great Bend improved two seconds to place 12th (4:03.99) with Josephine Mazouch, Kruckenberg, Darcy Feist and Hall.

The Panthers scored 26 points and placed 23rd.

Josephine Mazouch won the 50-yard freestyle (26.95) and 100-yard freestyle (58.67) at the WAC Tournament. Hall captured the 100-yard backstroke (1:07.07). The Panthers won the WAC 200-yard freestyle relay (1:50.84) with Josephine Mazouch, Meredith Mazouch,  Kruckenberg and Hall.
