BELOIT— Central Plains’ Layne Bieberle officially closed out his high school career Saturday with nine catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns but it wasn’t quite enough as the All Star East team squeaked out a 40-38 victory over the West at Beloit’s Trojan Field.

Other area players included Ness City’s Pedro Flores who had a reception for three yards. Little River’s Grant Harvey posted a catch for four yards in the loss.
