Filbert throws for 367 yards in Macksvilles 48-14 win over Fairfield

MACKSVILLE — Quarterback Seth Filbert led the Macksville High School football team with 367 yards and four touchdown passes to beat Fairfield on Friday night.
He also ran for 19 yards and two touchdowns.
Adam Oak ran for 116 yards and one touchdown, while recording 252 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the air.
Tanner Tranbarger caught four passes for 109 yards, while recording nine solo tackles on defense.
The Mustangs are 3-0 overall this season.

The Oilers (2-1) combined for 342 rushing yards narrowly topping Little River’s 336 rushing yards.

STAFFORD — Tristin Paulsen rang up 141 rushing yards as the Stafford Trojans got their first win of the season on Friday night.
Paulsen accounted for two of the Trojans (1-2) eight touchdowns. Gus Stueve led the team with three touchdowns.
Ethan Johnson scored two TDs, and Eric Shelton scored one.

HAYS — After one quarter, Thomas More Prep-Marian was up 10-8 for its homecoming game on Friday in Hays, but 21 second-quarter points gave the Monarchs a 31-14 lead at the half.
Chad Wallace rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns to lead teh Indians (0-3).
Brady Keith added 63 rushing yards, and quarterback Easton Palmer threw for 119 yards and a touchdown, completed to Brendon Lewis.

OTIS — The two teams combined for 52 points in the second quarter alone, but Otis-Bison was able to close out the game using the 45-point rule in the third quarter.
Dylan Wissman led the Cougars (3-0) with 176 rushing yards and four touchdowns, and Patrick Piper was right behind him with 159 yards and two TDs.
Quarterback Trevor Keller rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown, while completing 5 of 7 passes for 43 yards. He gave up one interception.
