VICTORIA — Ellinwood’s Tyson Martinez led four players in double figures with 22 points, but the Eagles lost 72-67 in two overtimes to Victoria in a Central Prairie League basketball showdown.
Ellinwood (13-7, 4-4 CPL) also placed Connor Ewing (16), Cody Wondra (10) and Kaleb Schartz (10) in double figures. The game was tied at 58-58 after regulation and 63-63 after one overtime.
Victoria’s Taylor Corley scored 25 points and Joe Dortland added19 points. Brady Dinkel had seven assists.

ST. JOHN — Cole Kinnamon scored 15 points and passed out four assists to spark St. John past Cimarron 57-41 in a non-league basketball game Thursday.
Jorge Calleros scored 13 points and had four steals. Jacob Milton had eight points and four steals. Chase Fisher chipped in 10 points. Neuschafer led Cimarron with 17 points.
