HOISINGTON — The Hoisington High School girls’ basketball team trailed by only three points going into the final eight minutes, but Hutchinson-Trinity was able to put together a 21-point fourth quarter to pull away on Friday night.
Belle Brickley led the Lady Cardinals with 10 points. Mallory Flagor added seven.

CLAFLIN — Claflin amassed a 35-20 lead at halftime and built onto it in the second half to beat Kinsley on Friday night.
Ashlee Maier took the lead for the Lady Wildcats, who are ranked No. 6 in Class 1A Division-I in the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll, scoring 17 points.
Natalie Hoffman and Jennifer Hitchsmann joined her in double digits with 13 and 10, respectively.

Cody Stetler added eight points.
Trinity is ranked No. 9 in Class 3A.
