LYONS — Evan Skelton scored 13 point and Larned cruised past Lyons 55-39 Friday in a non-league basketball game. The teams will play the league game later in the season. The Indians (5-1) outscored the Lions 14-2 in the first period. Trevor Meyer added 10 points. The Indians made 14 of 20 fee throws.

LYONS — Ruth Pineda scored 15 points and Ashlee Tingle added 12 points as Lyons beat Larned 47-36 in a non-league basketball game Friday. Larned led 12-5 after one quarter, but was outscored 18 points the rest of the way.
Erin Smith led Larned (1-5) with 10 points and Haley Skelton added nine points.

Hoisington girls 41, Pratt 25
HOISINGTON—Marisa Jonas scored a career high 15 points and Hoisington’s girls dominated state-ranked Pratt 41-25 Thursday night in a non-league basketball game. Leading scorer Rylie Koester and Karisa Schremmer each scored 10 points.
Jonas scored 11 points the first half as the Cardinals led 24-18 behind 11 of 25 shooting. The Cardinals (4-1) held Pratt to seven second-half points and forced 14 turnovers after halftime.
Koester, Karisa Schremmer and Harmon scored for a 30-18 lead. Schremmer passed to Jonas and Karisa Schremmer drilled a 3-pointer for a 36-20 lead.
McGowan led Pratt with eight points. The Greenbacks played without leading scorer Bi Becker, who was sidelined with a broken foot.

HOISINGTON — Pratt outscored Hoisington 36-3 on 3-pointers en route to a non-league 71-53 basketball victory. The Greenbacks converted treys off transition and added a pair of 3-pointers off rebounds.
Steffen Dolechek scored 16 points and Christopher Wright added 11 points for the Cardinals (1-4).
The Greenbacks (2-3) converted a dozen 3-pointers for 36 points and made 12 of 23 from long range. They scored six 3-pointers in each half. Travis Theis added 18 points and Hayden Schrag scored 14 points. Noah Myers drilled six 3-pointers for 18 points.
