LAWRENCE — The Great Bend High School track and field team took athletes to compete in the 87th Annual Kansas Relays on Friday.
Leading things for the Panthers was Jayce Brack, who finished third in the shot put. He reached a distance of 57 feet, one inch.
Brack also competed in the discus, placing 21st with a distance of 142-4.
The Lady Panthers were led by Kaylie Doll, who finished in fifth place in the triple jump. She cleared 35-4 3/4.
Kaylie also finished 25th in the long jump at 15-4 1/4.
Kelsie Doll claimed 32nd in the triple jump at 32-1 1/2.
Selam Ball, who recently set a GBHS record in the pole vault by clearing 11-0, finished in eigth place at 10-10.
