PRATT — Hoisington’s softball team gained a split with Pratt with a 4-2 hard-fought victory. Pratt won the opener 5-0.
Hoisington (5-3, 5-3 CKL) won the nightcap over Pratt (4-2, 4-2 CKL) behind the pitching of Delaney Smith. Marisa Jonas drove in two runs and Passion Martinez drove in a run. Schremmer had two hits.
Pratt’s Jenna Finchem had two hits and a run batted in. Breann Becker had two hits.

Pratt’s Paige Huber struck out 12 batters in a shutout. Cardinal pitcher Karisa Schremmer struck out nine batters.
