It will be the Western Athletic Conference baseball opener for Great Bend High School on Thursday.
The Panthers (4-0) travel to Hays to take on the Indians. The first game of the doubleheader is set for 4 p.m.
GBHS returns home to the City of Great Bend Sports Complex for back-to-back games.
The Panthers will take on WAC foe Liberal on Thursday, April 26, at 4 p.m., in a makeup date. The doubleheader was postponed earlier in the season because of inclement weather.
On Friday, April 27, Great Bend entertains Nickerson in non-conference doubleheader action, also starting at 4.
