GBHS boasts several All-WAC selections
Western Athletic Conference

The All-Western Athletic Conference teams for baseball, softball and girls' soccer are in.
In all, Great Bend High School boasts 18 selections and one Coach of the Year award.
The Coach of the Year award went to GBHS head softball coach Carrie Minton.
Minton had 11 of her athletes make into the first team of honorable mention group after a 17-5 season.
The Lady Panthers' aces, juniors Braylin Bretz and Hunter Middleton, joined catcher Dakota Sanders, shortstop McKenna Mauler, outfielder Kaylie Doll and first baseman Elizabeth Barber on the first-team All-WAC list.
Seniors Tarynn Stueder and Kelsie Doll and juniors Kacee Kasselman, Hannah Mauler and Regan Unruh each found their way onto the honorable mention team.
Bryce Beck was the lone player from Great Bend's baseball team on the all-conference first team.
Dillon Reiser, Shade Wondra and Matt Zecha were on the honorable mention team.
Great Bend's Zaira Huitron was a first-team All-WAC girls' soccer selection.
Alondra Garcia and Keeley Ireland were selected as honorable mention.
