BUHLER — The Great Bend High School track and field team competed at a 15-team meet in Buhler on Friday.
The Panthers finished 10th with 25 points.
The Lady Panthers placed 13th with 16.
Leading all Great Bend competitors was Selam Ball, who won the pole vault competition.
Ball cleared 11-feet.
Great Bend had a number of relay teams compete well.
For the Lady Panthers, Mariah Stein, Mary Williams, Morgan Harwood and Kaylan Lagerman combined for fifth place in the 4x800-meter relay. The team finished in a time of 10:50.00.
The Panthers’ 4x400 relay, Cristian Garcia, Nick Gerdes, Ty Yager and Antonio Carrasco, finished third at 3:34.16.
The same four runners placed seventh in the 4x100 relay with a time of 45.24.
Garcia joined Keaton Elliott, Quinton Elliott and Bobby Chavez for fourth place in the 4x800 relay, clocking in at 8:43.87.
