Black says team needs to play with more gusto, more passion
Coming off a championship victory at the Hoisington junior varsity quadrangular last weekend, Great Bend High School competed in a Lyons meet on Tuesday.
No team scores were kept in the five-team meet, and short-handed Great Bend, playing without a No. 2 singles player, secured second-place finishes in No. 1 doubles (Taylor Huslig and Carly Body) and No. 2 doubles (Kira Bunn and Morgan McIntosh), registering 3-1 records.
Jessica Freund was a fourth-place finisher in No. 1 singles, finishing with a 1-3 record.
