"Our doubles team, likewise, had a great win against Newton. Kalee Maneth did a good job for us, moving up from junior varsity."

Great Bend's Stephanie Langer, who was unseeded, placed eighth with a 2-3 record. The other singles player for the Panthers, Kaylee Maneth, also unseeded, finished 0-3.

There were 25 doubles teams in the tourney, including Jami McVay and Brianna Schartz, who were seeded eighth, finishing in sixth place with a 3-2 record.

Kinzie Sinclair and Becca Brining of Great Bend's doubles, also unseeded, finished 2-3 for 23rd place.
