The long-time tradition continues tonight.
Great Bend High School invites the public to attend the scrimmage of the volleyball, football and boys’ soccer teams.
Each team will run a scrimmage against itself to showcase progress of the team, acclimate the team to playing in front of a crowd and put together supplies for the fall season.
The volleyball team will begin at 6 p.m. in the Panther Fieldhouse.
The team asks that fans bring water or sports drinks as tickets for admission.
The football team kicks things off at 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
For admission, the team asks for towels.
At Cavanaugh Fields, the soccer team starts at 7:30 p.m.

While it isn’t a ‘soap’ scrimmage, the Great Bend cross-country team will be holding a time trial on Saturday at the Barton Lake cross-country course.
The time trial starts at 9 a.m. The high school girls will start things off, followed by the boys.
Middle school trials will go after the high school.
