McPHERSON — Great Bend High School competed in a Class 5A regional tennis tournament on Saturday.
Doubles players Jami McVay and Brianna Schartz of GBHS, along with Abby Hammeke and Randi McAfee, each won one match.

Singles —  Sophia McVay, GBHS, lost to Jordan Brown of Salina Central, 6-0, 6-0.
Doubles — Jami McVay/Brianna Schartz,, GBHS, def. Buss/Doerksen of Newton 6-4, 6-4; lost to DeTurk/Hauserman, Salina Central 6-1, 6-1; lost to Kinkelt/Courbot, Salina South, 6-2, 6-4.
Doubles — Abby Hammeke/Randi McAfee def. Blausfuss/Epp, Newton, 6-2, 6-1; lost to  Buchman/Holle of McPherson, 6-0, 6-0; lost to Cook/Haynes, Salina South 6-1, 6-1.
