The Great Bend High School basketball tams will travel Tuesday and Wednesday for first-round 5A basketball substate games. The Great Bend boys (4-16) travel to Maize High (16-4) Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The 16th-seeded Great Bend girls (3-17) travel to WAC champion Liberal (19-1) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
