DODGE CITY — The Great Bend High School girls’ soccer team fell short on the road against Western Athletic Conference foe Dodge City on Thursday.
The Lady Panthers lost 2-0, falling to 2-7-2 overall, 1-6-1 in the WAC.
Great Bend goalkeeper Stephanie Lomas had 17 saves, but that wasn’t enough to stop Dodge City, which scored a goal with 12 minutes remaining in the first half and another with seven minutes to go in the second.
GBHS plays host to Salina South today at Cavanaugh Field. The junior varsity game begins at 5 p.m.
