Great Bend golfer Neeland qualifies for 5A state

LIBERAL — Great Bend’s Allison Neeland placed fourth (87) in Monday’s Class 5A regional at Willow Tree Golf Course to qualify for the Class 5A girls state golf tournament.
Liberal (376), Wichita Carroll (377) and Maize High (385) qualified its teams for the Class 5A state tournament.
Great Bend (397) finished fourth with Halley Sanders (101), Kaily Griffith (104), Taylor Hommertzheim (105), Cailee McMullen (116) and Ashton Young (154) also competing.
Liberal (376), Wichita Carroll (377) and Maize High (385) captured Class 5A team berths.
