The Great Bend Middle School 8th grade Boys Basketball teams coached by Kyle Kriegh and assisted by Matt Rorabaugh made easy work of the Holcomb Longhorns recently the A team scoring a 42-16 victory with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists belonging to Drew Nicholson.
The B Team dominated Holcomb in a 48-13 win led by Corbin Stanley with 14 points, seven rebounds and an assist.
Two daays later, the Panthers then held off a last minute shot by the Abilene Longhorns to post a 44-42 win staying perfect at home for the season. The B team struggled with Abilene, last minute-magic delivered a 27-21 win. Mason Miranda and Abner Chavez led the Panthers with Miranda scoring seven points and Chavez scoring six.
