HAYS -- Great Bend High School's basketball teams will play Class 6A Olathe North in the first game at the Gerald Mitchell Hays City Shootout Dec. 3. The Hays City Shootout is scheduled Dec. 3-5 at Hays High School and Hays Middle School.

In first-round games, it's Great Bend-Olathe North, 3 p.m.; Newton-Garden City, 3 p.m.; Manahattan-Thomas More Prep, 6:30 p.m.; and Hays High-Colby, 6:30 p.m.

Semifinals are played Dec. 4. The final round will be Dec. 5.
