Great Bend High School has landed junior middle hitter Brenna Haines on the first team and senior outside hitter Bonny Boultinghouse was an honorable mention pick.
Selections for the Western Athletic Conference all-conference team were made in a vote by the league’s volleyball coaches.
Liberal’s Jai Chapman was named as the Player of the Year, and Liberal’s Thais Allen Baziquetto was named as Coach of the Year.
Chapman and Haines were joined on the first team by Dodge City’s Alexis Sanchez, Garden City’s Casey Curran, Liberal’s Riley Hay and Hays’ Mikayla Linn.
Haines, who stands at 5-foot-11, led the Lady Panthers in kills while establishing herself as one of the top underclassmen in the conference.
Boultinghouse, like Haines, was a vocal team leader who got better as the season progressed.
