HAYS-TMP 11, LARNED 10 — Luke Ruder scored the game-winning run on an eighth-inning error after Larned was one out away from a victory.
Gavin Schumacher drilled a tying three-run double after Trent Mayo and Eston Brown delivered RBI singles off pitcher Braydon Lemuz. The Monarchs rallied from a 5-0 deficit.
Larned’s Jordan Taylor sparked a five-run first inning with a two-run double. Mason Burris, Austin Gladow and Logan Pleasant drove home runs.
Larned’s Pleasant stole home on a fourth inning double steal. Carson Smith’s double scored Pleasant, Shevin Martin and Braydon Lemuz for a 9-5 lead. Smith scored on a passed ball for a 10-5 lead.
HAYS-TMP 5, HOISINGTON 4 — TMP pitcher Chase Werth struck out nine batters to complete a 104-pitch comeplete game. Werth retired the first 12 batters.
TMP led 2-0 on a pair of bases-loaded walks. Brown scored on a groundout for a 3-0 lead. Hoisington’s Jeremy Breit scored on a fifth-inning error and Kyle Lang scored on a passed ball to slice the lead to 3-2.
Luke Ruder scored on a misplayed fifth-inning bunt and Trent Mayo scored on an error to hand the Monarchs two unearned runs. Hoisington’s Jerrod Bieberle scored on a groundout and Lang doubled home Breit for a 5-4 score.

DODGE CITY 5, LARNED 3 – Larned hung tough before Dodge City scored three sixth-inning runs for a 5-3 victory. Dodge City’s Ryan Armstrong drove home two runs.

Armstrong’s single drove home Wyatt Childress in the first inning. Larned’s Carson Smith scored when Dalton Hamby was hit by a pitch for a 1-1 tie.

Larned’s Shevin Martin scored a run on a fourth-inning error for a 2-1 lead.

Dodge City’s Armstrong doubled and scored on a wild pitch to start a three-run sixth inning. Omar Don Juan singled home Aiden Knedler and Cody Terrell scored on a Bryan Holz’ groundout. Armstrong’s single scored Childress in the seventh inning.

Larned’s Carson Smith scored on a Brayden Rupp’s groundout.
