WICHITA — The Great Bend High School girls’ soccer team opened their season with a 6-1 loss to Haysville on Wednesday in the first round of the Wichita South Titan Classic.
Summer Bates scored for the Lady Panthers on an assist from freshman midfielder Alondra Garcia in the second half.
Great Bend plays Emporia at 4 p.m. on Friday.
