The Hoisington Middle School competed at the 10 team, Larned Merten’s Wrestling Tournament this past Saturday and placed 11 out of 17 wrestlers in the top three. No team scores were kept but if they had the team would have been tough to beat out for the tournament championship. The Hoisington Middle school team has been dominate so far this season.

Leading the way has been Wyatt Pedigo and Joshua Ball who both are still undefeated on the season, with Wyatt posting 11 wins and Joshua 10. Not far behind with just one loss on the season are: Dayne Yott 12-1, Cole Steinert 11-1, Quentin Boxberger 11-1, Trey Bitter 8-1, Zachary Rubio 4-1, and Orrin Tesch at 2-1. Blake Deines with 8 wins, Holt Hanzlick with 7 wins and Cade Boxberger with 6 wins have all been forces to reckon with at tournaments.
