Hoisington boys win Winter Jam title

HOISINGTON 39, MINNEAPOLIS 38

HOISINGTON – Corbin Crawford made the tying and game-winning free throws and No. 7 seeded Hoisington upset Minneapolis 39-38 to capture the championship of the Cardinal Winter Jam. Steffan Dolechek scored 10 points and Brenner Donovan and Cameron Davis scored eight points apiece.

Lion Brandon Wolfe scored 11 points. The Lions made 12 of 13 free throws.

HOISINGTON – Ellsworth’s Kaden Davis scored 26 points and the Bearkats beat Victoria 48-42 for fifth place at the Cardinal Winter Jam.
