The Hoisington High School volleyball team competed at the Great Bend triangular, going 2-0 on Tuesday night.
The Lady Cardinals, who have reclaimed their No. 1 ranking in Class 3A in the latest Kansas Volleyball Association poll, advance to 24-3 on the season.
Hoisington beat Macksville 25-10, 25-11. Mallory Flagor and Bell Brickley combined for 17 kills in the match.
Abi Rziha contributed 19 assists.
“Our kids really like each other and work very well together,” Hoisington head coach Tina Johnson said. “Our senior leadership from Mallory Flagor, BreAnna Burns, Belle Brickley and Savannah Rose has been all that a coach could ask for. They have been great leaders and role models for the rest of our team.”
Hoisington beat Great Bend in two close games 25-22, 25-23.
Flagor claimed 22 kills against the Lady Panthers.
On Monday, Hoisington will travel to McPherson for a quadrangular with Elyria, Chase and Russell.

Victoria triangular
VICTORIA — The St. John High School volleyball team went 2-0 at the Victoria triangular on Tuesday night.
The Lady Tigers beat Victoria 25-14, 25-8 and Central Plains 25-12, 25-23.
Central Plains fell to Victoria 25-12, 25-17.
