LARNED — Larned’s volleyball improvement is proven when the Indians pushed Pratt and Lyons to three sets Tuesday night.
But sadly for the Indians (10-22, 2-6 CKL), they lost a pair of heartbreakers — 25-23, 14-25, 25-19 to Pratt and 21-25, 25-20, 27-25 to Lyons. Lyons defeated Pratt, 25-18, 18-25, 25-16 in another three-set match.
The Indians relied on Kelsey Parr for 13 Allyson Aldrich for nine kills against Pratt. Parr has 17 serves and Erin Smith 15. Smith led with 20 digs and Aldrich (13), Parr (12) and Maddie Erway (10) hit double digs. Mattie Glover had 44 sets and Parr 29. Aldrich retrieved 18 serves and Smith 16.
