Indians sweep twinbill at Ulysses

ULYSSES — The Larned High School baseball team earned a pair of road victories against Ulysses on Friday evening.
The Indians won the first game 10-3 and the second 10-5.
The Tribe scored two runs in four of the first five innings in Game 1.
Isiah Perez drove in three runs, going 3-for-5 with a double in the game.
Easton Palmer and Efren Vega each had a pair of RBIs.
Landon Erway and Tyler Stelter both drove in one run apiece.
Camryn Bryant went six innings on the mound for the Indians, earning the win.
He allowed three hits, five walks and two earned runs. He had six strikeouts.
Palmer came on in the seventh, striking out one batter.
In Game 2, Larned put up five runs in the second and another five in the third to put itself in the driver’s seat.
Erway had five RBIs, going 2-for-4 with a double and a triple.
Perez added two RBIs.
Palmer had a solo home run, and Brayden Smith added an RBI.
Trey Kraisinger worked the mound for the Tribe, going six innings. He allowed eight hits and three walks.
He struck out four batters.
Palmer came on in the seventh, giving up four hits and three earned runs before closing out the game. He had one strikeout.
