KIOWA – The Ellinwood High School girls’ tennis team advanced both singles players and both doubles teams to the state meet Saturday at the Class 3-2-1A regional meet hosted by South Barber.
Bailey Schartz and Michelle Miller took second place, while Darri Beckwith and Kaitlyn Robl took fourth place in doubles competition.
Gentry McLeland finished in fifth place and Oma Thomas finished in sixth place in the singles division.
All four entries finished high enough to advance to the state meet Friday.
