No. 1 doubles duo Morgan Francis and Macy Moyers dominated things, going 4-0 on the day for first place.
No. 2 doubles team Carly Boyd and Taylor Huslig finished second at 3-1.
“Our No. 1 doubles team continues to play well and is now 17-0 on the season,” GBHS head coach Shannon Schartz said. “Our No. 2 doubles team played their best match of the day against Garden City. The match came down to a single point in the last game.”
Great Bend’s No. 1 singles player, Rebecca Dawson finished 2-2 for fifth place, and No. 2 singles player Addison Westhoff placed sixth at 1-3.
“Our singles players showed continued improvement,” Schartz said. “Rebecca had the two top singles players in her pool. Addison ended up in a three-way tie for second in her pool, and finished in third based on total games won.”
