KINGMAN — Larned’s Katie Fischer won the high jump (5-2) and teammate Cierra Nord captured the 3,200 meters (14:16.28) at Tuesday’s Kingman Track Invitational. Fischer placed second (5-2) in the 4A state high jump last year.
Nord finished runner-up in the 1,600 meters (6:31.26). Makayla Leiker placed second in the high jump (4-10). Larned’s girls scored 45 points to place sixth.
Larned’s boys earned two runner-up finishes — Wes Davis in the 200 (24.24) and the Indians’ 400-meter relay (45.01) with Anthony McConnell, Jacob Smith, Brock Skelton and Davis competing. Larned’s boys scored 48 points to place fifth.
Andale’s boys (200) and Andale’s girls (219.5) captured first place.
