HALSTEAD — Larned’s Evan Skelton pitched the Indians to a 7-1 victory over Halstead and the Indians completed the sweep with an 8-5 baseball victory.
Defending CKL champion Larned (4-0, 4-0 CKL) is tied for first place with Nickerson.
Skelton struck out seven batters. Dalton Bright and Skelton drove in runs. Johnathon Herter had two hits.
Halstead’s Trevor Thomas had two hits. VanSteenburg struck out 10 batters.
